Nimbu Global Pty Ltd (ABN 68 642 716 452), trading as Nimbu Creative, runs this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nimbucreative.com, why we collect it and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We only collect what we need to answer you and run the site.

• Forms. When you send an enquiry, a website tune-up request or a review through a form on this site, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
• Live chat. If you use the chat window, we receive your messages and any details you give us in the chat.
• Website use. Google Analytics tells us how the site is used, such as the pages visited, the device and browser, and the general area a visit comes from. It does not tell us who you are.
• Security. Our security software records the IP address of visits to protect the site from attacks, and Google reCAPTCHA checks form submissions for spam.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health or financial details, and we ask you not to send it through the site.

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, deliver work you engage us for and keep a record of our dealings with you. Website usage information helps us improve the site, and security records help keep it safe.

We do not sell personal information, and we will not add you to a mailing list without your agreement.

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They handle information on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

• Our web host, which stores the site and its data in Sydney, Australia.
• SMTP2GO, which delivers the emails our forms send.
• Google, for Google Analytics, Site Kit and the reCAPTCHA spam check on our forms.
• Zoho, for the live chat (Zoho SalesIQ).
• Trustindex, which displays our Google reviews.
• Wordfence, for website security.

Some of these providers, Google among them, may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

This site uses cookies and similar technology for:

• Google Analytics, to count visits and see how the site is used.
• Zoho SalesIQ, to keep a chat going as you move between pages.
• WordPress, Wordfence and Google reCAPTCHA, for security, spam protection and the normal running of the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although the live chat may not.

We keep enquiries and chat records for two years from our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep project and account records for as long as Australian tax and business law requires. Google Analytics data is kept under the retention setting on our Google Analytics account.

The site runs over an encrypted connection, is hosted in Australia and is protected by security software, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you where the law requires it.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing create@nimbucreative.com. We will reply within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
